David McKean founded IT Leaders after 10 years as a senior IT director and CIO. His most recent corporate role was as the IT director for Cable & Wireless in the UK. Previously, he was CIO for UPC in the Netherlands and AT&T in Asia. David has pioneered IT leadership thinking, bringing clarity to a complex subject.

David's international successes include Bouygues Telecom's GSM license bid and network roll-out in France. He also has extensive sales and marketing experience, having worked for Hewlett Packard for a number of years.

David is a regular presenter at international conferences and one of the founders of the FastTrack series on management. He is a chartered engineer and a graduate of Cambridge University.
